We are seeking a Sales Engineer to support our business growth by combining strong technical expertise with consultative selling. This role plays a critical part in translating client requirements into effective product and technology solutions, supporting the sales process from pre-sales through deal closure.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the sales team to understand client business challenges and recommend suitable Orbit Core Tech products and IT solutions.
- Deliver product demonstrations, solution walkthroughs, and technical presentations for Orbit Care, Orbit Learn, Orbit HRMS, and Orbit Connect.
- Design solution architectures aligned with customer needs, scalability, and security requirements.
- Support pre-sales activities, including RFP/RFI responses, technical proposals, and cost estimations.
- Act as the technical point of contact during customer discussions, addressing queries and objections.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to validate solution feasibility and timelines.
- Support smooth transition from sales to delivery through detailed technical handovers.
- Track market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies relevant to Orbit Core Tech.
Requirements
- Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or any technical discipline.
- 3-6 years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales, or Technical Consulting role.
- Strong understanding of software products, SaaS platforms, cloud-based solutions, or enterprise IT services.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and documentation skills.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with CRM tools and structured sales processes.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain confidentiality.
