Job description:

We are seeking a motivated Sales & Pre-Sales Engineer with a technical background and strong interest in sales, business development, and customer-facing roles. The ideal candidate can understand customer needs, identify opportunities, and assist in technical evaluations, proposals, and pre-sales activities. This role bridges technical knowledge with sales execution, supporting the process from lead identification to deal assistance.

Responsibilities:

  • Research market segments to identify potential customers and applications.
  • Generate, qualify, and track leads through online channels, networking, and CRM tools.
  • Understand customer needs and communicate the technical value of products/solutions.
  • Support pre-sales activities including meetings, demos, proposals, quotations, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with technical and product teams to ensure correct solutions and configurations.
  • Assist in pricing, commercial offers, competitor analysis, and product comparisons.
  • Maintain customer relationships and ensure smooth communication and updates with the sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechanical / Automation / Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong interest in Sales, Pre-Sales, Customer Interaction, and Technical Solution Selling.
  • Basic understanding of technical concepts and ability to explain them clearly to customers.
  • Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable with lead outreach, follow-ups, and client conversations.

Preferred:

  • Exposure to inside sales, pre-sales, or technical sales during projects or internships.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRMs (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot), or email automation tools.
  • Understanding of industry domains such as Automation, IoT, i4.0, Industrial Products, SaaS, or Hardware (based on your business).
