Job Description

Zycus is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will focus on generating leads, identifying key decision-makers, and creating new business opportunities for our cutting-edge SaaS procurement solutions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a results-oriented sales professional eager to grow and excel in the SaaS sales domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Proactively contact potential customers via outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn.
  • Prospecting & Qualification: Identify decision-makers and qualify leads based on procurement needs.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate lead data in CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and track progress.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing to follow up on inbound leads and improve conversion rates.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly/quarterly KPIs for lead generation.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on procurement industry trends and competitor offerings

Skills & Experience Required:

  • 25 years of inside sales experience, preferably in SaaS, technology sales, or procurement software.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage decision-makers.
  • Hands-on experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Proven track record in lead generation and qualification within a B2B environment.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes or SaaS procurement software is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (public speaking experience is preferred).
  • Strong soft skills, including pitching, probing, objection handling, and rapport building.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in professional business communication etiquette.
  • Skilled in account mapping and social selling.
  • Strong networking and team management capabilities.

Educational Qualification:

  • B.E. / MBA from premium institutes.
