Role Description
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to drive student enrollments and revenue growth for Protrainy's programs. The ideal candidate should have strong consultative selling skills, a proven track record in closing sales, and prior experience in the edtech sales ecosystem. This is a target-driven role requiring ownership of the complete sales cycle from lead engagement to enrollment conversion.
Mandatory Requirements
● Prior experience in Edtech Sales is mandatory
● Minimum 6 months - 2+ years of experience in sales / business development / counseling in edtech
● Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue/enrollment targets
● Strong communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills
● Comfortable with high-volume calling and follow-ups
Key Responsibilities
Lead Management & Conversion
● Engage with inbound and outbound leads via calls, WhatsApp, email, and follow-ups
● Understand learner needs, career goals, and recommend relevant Protrainy programs
● Conduct consultative counseling and guide prospects through the decision-making process
● Convert qualified leads into paid enrollments
Sales Process Ownership
● Manage the complete sales funnel from lead assignment to closure
● Maintain accurate lead status, follow-up notes, and pipeline updates in CRM
● Ensure timely follow-ups to maximize conversion rates
● Handle objections related to pricing, program value, placements, and competition
Revenue & Target Achievement
● Own monthly revenue and enrollment targets
● Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly activity KPIs (calls, talk time, follow-ups, demos, conversions)
● Consistently optimize personal conversion metrics
Collaboration & Feedback
● Work closely with marketing and operations teams to improve lead quality and conversion journeys
● Share recurring learner objections, feedback, and market insights with the team
Preferred Skills
● Strong persuasion and closing ability
● High ownership and accountability
● CRM proficiency (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, or similar)
● Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
● Good understanding of career counseling and student decision journeys
Compensation
● Fixed Salary + Attractive Performance Incentives Fixed : Rs. 25,000 - Rs. 40,000 + performance incentives ● High performers can significantly increase earnings through monthly incentives
