Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will own the early-stage sales pipeline development for the Cybersecurity Intelligence Platform.
Your role supports the Revenue pillar of the platform by identifying potential technology vendors, initiating conversations with decision makers, and converting marketing-generated leads and outbound prospects into qualified sales meetings for the Account Executive team.
You will engage with cybersecurity vendors, SaaS companies, and enterprise technology organizations that can participate in research campaigns, webinars, industry surveys, and intelligence programs offered by the platform.
Key Responsibilities
· The Sales Development Representative identifies and engages cybersecurity technology vendors and enterprise technology companies that can participate in the platform's demand generation and research programs.
· The Sales Development Representative executes outbound outreach campaigns through email, LinkedIn, and calls to initiate conversations with marketing leaders, demand generation managers, and technology executives.
· The Sales Development Representative qualifies inbound leads generated through research reports, webinars, surveys, and marketing campaigns to determine their relevance and buying intent.
· The Sales Development Representative schedules qualified discovery meetings between potential clients and the Account Executive team.
· The Sales Development Representative maintains accurate prospect and lead records within the CRM to ensure proper pipeline tracking and lead management.
· The Sales Development Representative follows structured outreach sequences to maintain consistent engagement with potential clients.
· The Sales Development Representative monitors outreach engagement metrics and continuously refines prospecting approaches to improve response and meeting conversion rates.
· The Sales Development Representative collaborates with marketing teams to follow up on campaign-generated leads and convert audience engagement into sales conversations.
Experience Requirements
· 2-3 years of experience in sales development, business development, inside sales, or B2B lead generation roles.
· Experience working with B2B technology companies, SaaS platforms, or digital marketing services is preferred.
Key Skills
· Strong communication and prospecting skills across email, LinkedIn, and phone outreach.
· Understanding of B2B sales processes, lead qualification frameworks, and pipeline development.
· Ability to research target accounts, identify decision makers, and initiate business conversations.
· Familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement tools used for pipeline tracking and outreach automation.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree (Required)
You should possess a bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines that support sales, marketing, or business development:
