Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Executive. The candidate will be responsible for identifying potential business opportunities, managing lead pipelines, and supporting the growth of Valad Infotech's client base through proactive outreach and relationship building.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Business Development and Sales Activities:
Initiate outbound calls to domestic and international prospects.
Promote company services effectively by highlighting key benefits and features.
Qualify leads by probing needs, challenges, and interest levels.
Schedule appointments for the Business Development Manager.
Handle customer objections professionally and persuasively.
Maintain consistent follow-ups with leads to drive conversions.
Accurately manage and update client data within the CRM system.
Meet or exceed defined KPIs such as call volumes, conversion rates, and revenue targets.
Maintain detailed records of interactions and prepare regular performance reports.
Adhere to company guidelines, sales scripts, and compliance policies.
2. Lead Generation and Relationship Building:
Generate new business opportunities specifically within the Maritime industry.
Build and nurture long-term client relationships.
Maintain and update a structured lead database.
Utilize LinkedIn Marketing for outreach, networking, and branding.
Leverage data tools for lead segmentation, performance analytics, and targeted campaigns.
Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments.
Qualifications:
A candidate for the Business Development Executive role at Valad Infotech Solutions should possess:
Bachelor's degree in any field.
12 years of experience in sales, telecalling, business development, or a related field.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to craft and execute sales strategies aligned with company goals.
Proficiency in CRM tools and data analysis tools.
Experience in LinkedIn B2B marketing and social selling.
Exposure to international clients and global sales processes is a plus.
Knowledge of the Maritime or Shipping industry is desirable but not mandatory.
