About Antropi Robotics

Antropi Robotics is building the Factory of the Future. Based in Bengaluru, we are redefining manufacturing by integrating intelligent, vision-driven robotic arms and AI-powered scheduling software into production environments. Our modular, AI-first platform enables 24/7 continuous operation and significantly higher machine utilization for CNC factories.

You will be joining a talent-dense robotics team consisting of individuals from top institutions in India and abroad, including IITs and Ivy League universities, as well as high-caliber operators and engineers who have built in deep-tech, robotics, manufacturing, and startup environments.

About the Role

We are looking for a smart, resourceful, and high-ownership Sales / Business Development Associate to help Antropi identify, reach, and onboard high-potential manufacturing customers in Bengaluru.

This is an in-person role that combines online research, field sales, customer discovery, and founder-led business development. The ideal candidate is not someone who waits for clean databases or perfect instructions. We are looking for someone who can dig through messy information, find hidden routes to decision-makers, and create warm conversations with factory owners and manufacturing leaders.

You will work closely with the founders to build Antropi's early customer pipeline and help us enter the right factories, industrial clusters, and manufacturing networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Factory Discovery - Identify relevant CNC factories, machine shops, and manufacturing businesses using sources like IndiaMART, Google Maps, industrial directories, trade booklets, journals, association lists, exhibitions, and local manufacturing networks.

  • Research & Shortlisting - Build structured lists of high-potential factories based on industry, machine type, location, scale, and relevance to Antropi's technology.

  • Contact Discovery - Find phone numbers, owner details, decision-maker contacts, and alternate routes to reach factory owners through online and offline channels.

  • Outreach & Calling - Call prospects, introduce Antropi, understand their manufacturing setup, qualify interest, and create opportunities for deeper founder conversations.

  • Field Visits - Visit factories, industrial areas, and manufacturing clusters in person to meet prospects, explain Antropi's technology, gather information, and build trust.

Required Skills & Traits

  • Resourcefulness - Ability to find information even when it is scattered, incomplete, or not available through standard sources.

  • Street-Smart Sales Mindset - Comfortable navigating industrial areas, speaking to factory teams, finding the right person, and figuring out practical ways to get access.

  • Strong Communication - Confident in Hindi and English, with the ability to explain technical ideas in a simple, clear, and practical manner. Kannada is a plus.

  • High Ownership - Takes responsibility for outcomes, follows up consistently, and does not need constant reminders to close loops.

  • Curiosity & Persistence - Enjoys digging into industries, finding patterns, testing multiple routes, and staying persistent through rejection.

  • Structured Execution - Can maintain trackers, organize leads, prioritize prospects, and give clear updates to the founders.

Preferred Background

Experience in sales, business development, field sales, industrial sales, manufacturing, machinery, tools, automation, SaaS, or B2B customer acquisition is preferred.

Prior exposure to CNC factories, industrial areas, machine shops, manufacturing SMEs, or hardware businesses is a strong advantage, but not mandatory if the candidate is highly driven and quick to learn.

Role Details

Location: Bengaluru, on-site and field-based

Role Type: 2-month internship with potential full-time conversion

Function: Sales / Business Development

Language Requirements: Hindi and English required, Kannada preferred

Reporting To: Founders

Conversion Opportunity: High-performing interns who demonstrate strong ownership, persistence, communication skills, and the ability to build a qualified customer pipeline may be considered for a full-time role at Antropi Robotics.
