Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Sales Assistant, based in Jalpaiguri with hybrid flexibility, allowing some work-from-home opportunities. The Sales Assistant will engage with customers, support sales activities, and provide excellent customer service.

The role is heavily execution-driven and sales-oriented. The candidate will be responsible for actively reaching out to potential customers through calls, qualifying leads from provided databases, and contributing to consistent revenue generation.

Key responsibilities include assisting with sales-related tasks, maintaining organized records, fostering customer relationships, and helping meet sales goals both online and in-store. The role also involves contributing to the overall customer experience and supporting operational efficiency.

Additionally, the candidate will:

  • Conduct regular outbound calling to qualify leads from assigned databases
  • Take ownership of new lead generation activities through research, referrals, and outreach
  • Maintain a detailed data sheet of all calls made, lead status, and conversions
  • Submit daily/weekly call reports to the Director, highlighting progress and insights

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive customer relationships
  • Customer service and communication skills to respond effectively to inquiries and convert leads
  • Proficiency in sales techniques and the ability to drive revenue growth through outbound efforts
  • Strong organizational skills to manage customer data, sales records, and reporting systems
  • Ability to work efficiently in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office and remote responsibilities
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, target-driven mindset
  • Experience in telecalling, e-commerce sales, or retail sales is a strong advantage
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business or marketing is preferred
  • The Salary is Fixed for this role: ₹7000/month
  • The Candidate will be in probation for the first 6 months
  • Incentive structure and regular hikes will be applicable after probation period completes
