Job Brief:
Assistant Manager - Sales to lead and drive sales operations for Baltimore Aircoil across North India and Bangladesh. The role is responsible for achieving revenue targets, maintaining profitability and cash flow metrics, and developing a strong sales pipeline across HVAC, Data Centre, and Industrial markets. The position reports directly to the leadership team and plays a key role in overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve assigned sales targets by driving business for:
Ensure bottom-line performance and DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) are maintained in line with company norms
Design and implement a strategic business plan to build and sustain a strong sales pipeline focused on niche and addressable clientele for BAC
Review and pre-qualify enquiries received from the market, including:
Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain a healthy win-to-quote ratio
Build, develop, and promote strong long-term relationships with end users, consultants, designers, and contractors by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions
Drive project specification (spec-in) activities with consultants and end users
Track market trends, identify emerging opportunities, and stay fully updated on new products, competition, and market shifts
Top Skills & Proficiencies:
Strong experience in capital equipment sales
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Proficient in AI tools, sales software, and digital tools for effective daily operations and impactful presentations
Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and focused on organizational success
Strong capability to conceptualize, implement, and follow structured sales processes
In-depth understanding of HVAC, Data Centre, and Industrial markets
Requirements & Qualifications:
B.Tech / Diploma in Engineering
Proven track record in product sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
Demonstrated ability to drive the complete sales cycle from planning to closure
Strong business acumen with relevant industry expertise
Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills across all organizational levels
Commitment to continuous self-development through workshops, seminars, and conferences
