Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales and Marketing Specialist role based in Bihar. The specialist will identify and onboard kirana stores and local partners, promote XPAND's solutions, and execute sales activities to achieve regional revenue and distribution targets. Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong retailer and distributor relationships, conducting regular field visits, and gathering market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and consumer trends. The role will support the design and implementation of local marketing campaigns, in-store promotions, and visibility initiatives to increase brand presence in rural markets. The specialist will also provide basic training to retailers on platform usage, track performance metrics, prepare regular sales and activity reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and customer experience.
Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with retailers, brand partners, and internal teams effectively.
  • Proven Sales experience, with the ability to drive territory growth and close deals in fast-moving, field-based environments.
  • Experience in Sales Management and Training to guide channel partners, support field teams, and improve performance through coaching.
  • Familiarity with rural or FMCG/retail markets; prior experience working with kirana stores or distribution networks is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site, travel frequently within Bihar, and operate independently while meeting targets and deadlines.
  • Comfort using mobile apps, basic CRM or reporting tools, and MS Office or Google Workspace for documentation and analysis.
  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency in English and relevant regional languages of Bihar is highly beneficial.
