Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales and Marketing Specialist role based in New Delhi. The Sales and Marketing Specialist will identify and develop new business opportunities, promote Bajaj General Insurance products across channels, and manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to policy closure. The role includes building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, partners, and advisors, conducting product presentations, and participating in marketing campaigns and local promotional events. The specialist will track sales performance, prepare regular reports, and provide feedback to optimize sales strategies and marketing initiatives. Daily responsibilities also include delivering high-quality customer service, coordinating with internal teams for smooth policy issuance and servicing, and staying updated on market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation abilities, and active listening.
  • Demonstrated Customer Service capabilities, with a focus on empathy, problem-solving, and long-term relationship management.
  • Proven Sales experience, including prospecting, lead conversion, negotiation, and achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Experience in Sales Management or team coordination, with the ability to guide, motivate, and support channel partners or junior team members.
  • Ability to deliver or support Training sessions for customers, partners, or internal teams on products, processes, and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Familiarity with insurance or financial services products is preferred; general understanding of general insurance concepts is an advantage.
  • Comfort working with CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and basic digital marketing or sales enablement platforms.
