Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and creative Sales and Marketing Intern to join our dynamic team. This role offers hands-on experience in both sales and marketing functions, providing an excellent opportunity to develop skills in customer engagement, digital marketing, lead generation, and sales strategy execution.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support
- Assist in identifying and qualifying potential leads through research and outreach activities
- Support the sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, and sales materials
- Participate in sales calls and meetings to gain exposure to the sales process
- Help maintain and update CRM systems with accurate customer information
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends
Marketing Activities
- Create and schedule content for social media platforms and company blog
- Assist in developing marketing collateral including brochures, case studies, and email campaigns
- Support the execution of digital marketing campaigns across various channels
- Help track and analyze marketing metrics to measure campaign effectiveness
- Contribute to SEO optimization efforts and website content updates
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure aligned messaging and brand consistency
- Assist in organizing and executing virtual or in-person events, webinars, and product demonstrations
- Support the development of customer testimonials and success stories
- Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas for marketing initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with marketing tools such as Canva, Hootsuite, or similar platforms
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO principles
- Previous internship or project experience in sales or marketing
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Understanding of B2B or B2C sales processes
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills
