Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented, and experienced Sales and Marketing Executive to join our Sales and Marketing Department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our solar inverter and power conditioning solutions business by driving sales, developing new business opportunities, and strengthening customer relationships across target markets.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for Statcon Powtech's solar inverter and power conditioning product portfolio.
  • Generate leads and convert prospects into customers through effective sales and business development activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC companies, solar developers, distributors, channel partners, consultants, and end customers.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities, customer requirements, and industry trends within the renewable energy sector.
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations, proposals, and commercial offers to prospective clients.
  • Coordinate with technical and engineering teams to provide appropriate product solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to revenue growth objectives.
  • Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, seminars, and other industry events to promote company products and expand market reach.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market developments to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and business opportunities through CRM and reporting systems.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, market analysis reports, and business development updates for management review.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and after-sales support coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline), Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales and Business Development and experience within the Solar Industry is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of solar energy products, solar inverters, power conditioning systems, and renewable energy applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with customers and business partners.
  • Willingness to travel as required for customer meetings, site visits, and business development activities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with solar EPC companies, inverter manufacturers, or renewable energy solution providers.
  • Knowledge of rooftop solar, utility-scale solar projects, and energy storage applications.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales reporting tools.
  • Existing network within the solar and renewable energy industry will be an added advantage.
