In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing procurement data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve sourcing strategies and supplier performance. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
.Experience in category taxonomy building and analysis.
.Spend data cleansing and making it meaningful for designing sourcing strategy.
.Identifying catalogue opportunities.
.Looking forward for supplier rationalization opportunities based on historical spend.
.Collect, clean, and analyze procurement data from various sources.
.Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement and sourcing.
.Proactively identifing trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support decision-making.
.Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to understand their data needs and provide insights.
.Conduct spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and supplier performance improvements. Perform CBA (Cost Benefit Analysis).
.Support the development and implementation of data-driven procurement strategies.
.Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and analyses.
.Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
.Track the tail spend by market and spend managed by Buying Desk
.Track and report savings, KPIs and other performance indicators
Spot/Tactical Buyer Procures goods and services, obtains quotation, develops proposals and/or negotiates contracts of low to moderate value/risk consistent with client requirements.
. Review the Purchase Requisition and liaison with business stakeholder to understand the business requirements . Identify appropriate supply base to provide the Service / Goods
. Obtain necessary number of Quotes from Suppliers as per Client Procurement Policy/Sourcing guidelines . Negotiate with Suppliers on both Commercial and Non Commercial Clauses as per guidance
. Obtain approval from Client Category Manager on Finalized Supplier
. Draft Contract as Client and Senior Buyer instructions
. Record Savings in the Client Savings Data Base
. Research and resolve supplier discrepancies & issues
. Should be able to effectively manage internal / external customers & stake holders
. Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned
. Develop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvements
Establish KPIs/SLAs, customizing as appropriate for all the in scope activities defined in SOW
. Partner with internal stakeholders (ex. Category Managers, Business Units, Leadership etc.) to continuously refine and simplify the processes keeping in mind the end user experience (CSAT)
. Ensure that all agreed operational controls, Approval Authority Matrix, and quality audit requirements are adhered to as detailed in SOW/SOP's
. Accountable for establishing/ongoing maintenance of standard operations procedures (SOP's), conducting trainings and enforcement of Client's Procurement Policy for Indirect Spend
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
.University graduate (Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field graduates to be preferred)
.Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in procurement or supply chain.
.Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
.Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
.Excellent communication and presentation skills.
.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
.Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
.Language Capability Verbal and Written: Fluent in English / regional (based on the markets supported)
.Working Hours - Flex hours. Need to adopt the Global working schedule as shift hours are subject to change as per requirement.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Master's degree in a related field.
.Experience with procurement software and SAP systems.
.Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
.Certification in data analytics or supply chain management.
