We are looking for an experienced Ruby Developer to join our Operational Intelligence and Visualization (OIV) team. The OIV platform provides a single-pane-of-glass view for operational data, enabling real-time trend detection, automated threshold alerting, and integrations with Slack, email, and incident management systems.

As a Ruby Developer, you will work on building and enhancing backend services, APIs, and automation workflows within a microservices-based architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Ruby 3.2 and Rails 8.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with external systems.
• Collaborate with the frontend team (VueJS/Vuetify) to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Work with Sidekiq for background job processing and automation tasks.
• Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity using PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a UNIX/Linux environment.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance tuning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Ruby (3.x) and Rails (6+), preferably Rails 8.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and tools like Postman.
• Familiarity with background job processing (Sidekiq).
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Experience working in UNIX/Linux environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
