Senior Technical Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Delivery:

• Lead a team of software engineers and take responsibility for project delivery
• Coach and review team deliverables to ensure quality standards
• Support project planning by providing estimates for complex and large projects

Solution Design & Development:

• Analyse requirements and prepare high-level and low-level designs
• Build secure APIs and develop asynchronous, reliable backend tasks
• Leverage Azure services such as Service Bus, API Management, Cosmos DB, SQL, and Redis

Integration & Architecture:

• Implement integration technologies such as API Management, Event Grid, and Event Hub
• Work with Kubernetes on Azure for container orchestration
• Understand various data storage options in the Azure platform

Process & Quality Assurance:

• Maintain and evolve a clean and well-documented codebase
• Ensure adherence to CI/CD practices using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.
• Optimize and fine-tune applications in a support and production environment

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Act as a bridge between software engineers, solution analysts, and IT architects
• Translate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate in a Scrum environment to drive continuous improvement of product features

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 6 years of experience with Azure services and .NET development
• Minimum 6 years of experience in C#, .NET, API & Service Deployment, and SQL Server
• 3 years of experience with Kubernetes on Azure
• Familiarity with Application Insights, Azure App Configuration, and Azure Key Vault
