Risk Associate

As an Analyst/Associate in our Venture Debt Fund, you will play a crucial role in supporting our investment and portfolio management activities. You will work closely with the investment team to evaluate potential investments, conduct due diligence, and monitor portfolio companies. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and a deep understanding of the venture capital and startup ecosystem.

Role Responsibilities:

Review CAMs (Credit Assessment Memos) for corporates and NBFCs.

Assess and analyze the risk profiles of potential investment opportunities for India and GCC regions.

Conduct thorough credit assessments and financial analyses.

Develop risk mitigation strategies and provide recommendations to the investment team.

Monitor and report on the risk exposure of existing portfolio companies.

Perform bank and GST checks, analyze loss-making startups, and manage wholesale lending risks.

Utilize financial modeling, Excel skills, and data analysis.

Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience in building risk management or portfolio monitoring tools is a plus.

Ideal Candidate:

Work Experience: Minimum of 2-5years

Background: Strong expertise in credit analysis and risk management

Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret complex financial data and offer actionable insights

Previous Experience : Experience in startup lending and credit assessment is highly desirable

Educational Qualifications: MBA from a top-tier institution or CA
