About the Role:
We are seeking a Domestic Experienced Consultant with a strong background in SAP Basis Migration. The role involves working closely with clients to manage, plan, and execute SAP migration projects within the domestic market. As a consultant, you will bring your expertise in SAP Basis to ensure smooth migration processes, system optimization, and high-quality service delivery for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP Basis Migration: Lead and support SAP migration projects, ensuring smooth and successful transitions from one SAP environment to another (e.g., from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA or other upgrades). Handle migration from on-premise to cloud or hybrid environments as required.
- System Configuration and Optimization: Configure and optimize SAP Basis systems to improve performance, scalability, and reliability across various environments.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Act as a key point of contact for resolving technical issues related to SAP Basis during migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Data Migration Support: Work on data migration tasks, including managing and validating data consistency, ensuring that critical business data is accurately transferred during the migration process.
- Collaboration with Technical Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including SAP functional consultants, technical teams, and project managers, to ensure that all migration activities align with business and technical requirements.
- Documentation and Reporting: Provide clear and concise documentation of the migration processes, challenges, and resolutions. Prepare status reports for stakeholders, highlighting progress and risks.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements, provide expert advice on SAP Basis migrations, and ensure timely and efficient execution of migration tasks.
- Knowledge Sharing: Provide training and knowledge transfer sessions to junior consultants and client teams, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge for future SAP Basis activities.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience with SAP Basis and Basis Migration projects, with a deep understanding of SAP landscape and migration processes.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP Basis administration, system migrations, upgrades, and configurations. Experience with cloud migrations (e.g., AWS, Azure, SAP Cloud) is an added advantage.
- SAP Tools & Technologies: Experience with SAP tools and technologies such as SAP Solution Manager, SAP HANA, SAP NetWeaver, and SAP S/4HANA migration.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proven ability to resolve complex migration and system configuration issues.
- Client-Facing Experience: Proven ability to interact with clients, gather requirements, deliver solutions, and maintain strong relationships throughout the migration process.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: Relevant SAP Basis certifications or migration certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
Education:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
