This role requires strong collaboration across Product, Technology, and Risk teams, and a proactive approach to user engagement, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit, document, and refine clear business requirements, writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria aligned with product goals.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to understand critical use cases, pain points, and evolving risk-related needs.
  • Develop and communicate user journeys, workflows, and artifacts that illustrate intuitive and effective user experiences.
  • Conduct and integrate findings from usability studies, market analysis, and research into product feature planning and prioritization.
  • Identify, escalate, and propose solutions for key issues and dependencies to ensure seamless product delivery and risk mitigation.
  • Facilitate product demos, stakeholder reviews, and feedback sessions; integrate feedback into ongoing roadmap development.
  • Work closely with Technology and other Product teams to ensure that foundational components are developed in alignment with user and business needs.
  • Oversee delivery timelines, track implementation fidelity, and ensure timely resolution of issues and bugs to meet release schedules.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • At least 3 years of experience in product management, product development, or a related function.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts for executive-level audiences.
  • Skilled in managing competing priorities under pressure in fast-paced environments.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across diverse teams, build consensus, and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • High level of intellectual curiosity and the initiative to independently learn and adapt.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the product development lifecycle, including ideation, discovery, roadmap creation, requirement definition, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Familiarity with technology architecture, APIs, UX design principles, and data analytics.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in large financial institutions with a foundational understanding of credit risk management concepts.
  • Background working closely with UX Design and Technology teams, including technical discussions and design evaluations.
  • Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).
