We are seeking a Manager – Revenue Assurance to support and scale the revenue assurance function for a Series A AI / Agentic platform SaaS company. This role will ensure accurate revenue recognition under US GAAP (ASC 606) across usage-based, subscription, and platform revenue models.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in high-growth, ambiguous environments and can build scalable processes to support growth from $10M to $50M ARR while preparing for future public company readiness.
Qualifications Required

Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Recognition (ASC 606)
- Apply ASC 606 to complex SaaS arrangements
- Review customer contracts for revenue implications
- Support accounting for Subscription revenue, Usage-based revenue, multi-element arrangements, Implementation / professional services, Contract modifications & Variable consideration
- Review and interpret client contracts to determine revenue recognition treatment
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS 115 / IFRS 15/ ASC 606
- Draft technical accounting memos
2. Usage-Based / AI Platform Revenue Assurance
- Validate usage-based revenue models
- Work with Product & Engineering teams on:
- Usage data pipelines
- Metering systems
- Billing triggers
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of usage data
- Build controls around data-driven revenue
3. Billing & Invoicing
- Supervise billing cycles to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Align billing milestones with contractual terms and delivery outputs
- Resolve discrepancies between contracts, delivery, and invoicing
4. Collections & Working Capital Management
- Lead collections strategy and execution to optimize cash flow
- Monitor aging, drive reduction in DSO, and improve cash conversion cycle
- Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve payment disputes
5. Global Revenue Operations
- Support revenue accounting across US, UK and India
- Oversee accurate and timely revenue recognition across all businesses
- Finalize monthly revenue accruals, deferrals, and adjustments
- Ensure proper cut-off, matching, and completeness of revenue
- Drive automation and standardization in revenue accounting processes
- Assist in multi-entity revenue, Intercompany revenue & multi-currency accounting
- Ensuring Cross-functional Collaboration partnering with Sales, Legal, Product, Engineering, Finance, FP&A & Tax teams
6. Systems & Automation
- Support implementation and optimization of ERP systems, Billing platforms & Revenue automation tools
- Automate Deferred revenue, Revenue schedules & Usage ingestion
7. Reporting & Analytics
- Monthly revenue close, Deferred revenue roll forward, ARR / MRR validation
- Revenue analytics including
- Development of dashboards for revenue tracking, leakage analysis, and forecasting
- Providing insights on revenue trends, risks, and opportunities to leadership
- Support to FP&A with revenue forecasts and variance analysis
8. Public Company Readiness
- Support audit readiness by owning the end-to-end Record-to-Report cycle related to revenue
- Ensure accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit readiness
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure SOX / audit compliance (if applicable)
- Maintain revenue documentation
