About the Role:
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Desk Political Researcher to support our political consulting and campaign team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting political data, trends, and public sentiment to assist in strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research on political trends, policies, elections, and public opinion.
Monitor news, social media, and other platforms for real-time political developments.
Prepare daily, weekly, and ad-hoc research reports and briefs.
Analyze voter behavior, demographic data, and constituency-level insights.
Assist in creating data-backed political strategies and campaign narratives.
Track competitor activities, party movements, and election updates.
Maintain databases and ensure accuracy of research data.
Coordinate with ground teams to validate field-level insights.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Journalism, Public Policy, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in political research, journalism, or data analysis.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of regional languages is a plus).
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and research tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong attention to detail and deadline-oriented approach.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in election campaigns or political consulting firms.
Knowledge of data visualization tools or survey analysis.
Understanding of regional political landscape.
