Research Associate (Cooling Technologies/Refrigeration Systems)

Mantras2success Consultants is seeking a proactive Research Associate with a strong interest in the development and testing of innovative cooling technologies and refrigeration systems. This role offers a unique opportunity for young professionals to engage in impactful research focused on energy-efficient cooling solutions for modern buildings, leveraging state-of-the-art testing facilities for practical insights and advancements.

Roles and Responsibilities

• System Installation & Reporting: Install small mechanical or electrical systems and equipment in laboratory or residential settings. Prepare detailed reports on system performance and document any issues encountered during operation.
• Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate effectively with technicians to ensure successful project completion. Maintain clear communication on project status, challenges, and progress with team members and supervisors.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Supervise routine maintenance of electrical wiring and systems, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards. Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Testing & Design Assistance: Conduct comprehensive performance and safety tests for mechanical systems and room air-conditioning units. Assist in the design of mechanical systems as required.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in computer applications is desirable.
• Expertise in refrigeration systems or Building Management Systems (BMS) will be considered an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical, thermal, or mechanical engineering or a closely related field.
