Role Overview
The Relationship Manager will be responsible for driving insurance business through client acquisition, relationship management, and development of distribution through agents. The role involves identifying client insurance requirements and providing suitable solutions across
Health, Life, and General Insurance products through multiple insurer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Business Development
- Identify and acquire new clients through networking, referrals, and market outreach.
- Generate new business opportunities in Corporate, SME, and Individual segments.
- Build a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
Agent Recruitment & Development
- Recruit and onboard insurance agents/advisors to expand the distribution network.
- Support agents in business development and provide guidance on product offerings.
- Ensure agent activation and productivity through regular engagement and mentoring.
Insurance Sales & Advisory
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable insurance solutions across Health, Life, and General Insurance products.
- Present product comparisons from multiple insurers and guide clients in selecting suitable policies.
- Drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing client accounts.
Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term engagement.
- Support policy servicing including renewals, endorsements, and documentation.
Business Targets & Reporting
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets assigned by the company.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, and business closures.
Coordination & Compliance
- Coordinate with insurer partners and internal operations teams for smooth policy issuance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 1–5 years of experience in insurance sales or insurance broking.
- Strong knowledge of Health Insurance, Life Insurance, and General Insurance products.
- Experience in client acquisition, agent recruitment, and relationship management.
- Ability to develop and manage an agent/advisor network.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-driven with a strong focus on achieving sales targets.
