Job Description

Role Overview

As a Relationship Manager specialising in credit delivery, you will manage client relationships, support business development, and deliver exceptional service. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to develop proposals, support credit analysis, and ensure clients receive high-quality, integrated banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are understood and exceeded
  • Design and originate new business proposals aligned with client requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, intermediaries, and internal teams
  • Lead commercial negotiations and agreements on contractual terms with new intermediaries
  • Support management in developing high-quality credit proposals and analysis
  • Collaborate with product teams to provide a seamless, integrated banking relationship for clients

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong knowledge of credit delivery and experience in the financial services industry
  • Broad understanding of corporate finance, capital models, and legal forms of lending and security
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence at senior levels
  • QFA qualification with strong credit analysis skills
  • Proven track record in relationship management and in leading or developing performing sales teams
  • Knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory, and statutory obligations, including risk management in financial services
  • Experience with business processes such as Know Your Customer (KYC), anti-money laundering (AML), deal structuring, and preparing credit appraisals
