Job Description

Job Title: Regional Sales Manager – Solar PV Modules

Department: Sales & Marketing

Location: Hyderabad, Chennai, Andhra Pradesh(Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada)

Reports To: Sales Head / Business Head

Job Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and managing key client relationships for Solar PV Modules within the assigned region. The role requires strong industry knowledge, strategic planning, and team leadership to achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve sales targets for Solar PV Modules
  • Identify new business opportunities in EPC, rooftop, utility-scale, and distribution segments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, dealers, and key customers
  • Manage and expand distributor and dealer network across the region
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
  • Lead negotiations and close high-value deals with clients
  • Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, operations, finance) for smooth order execution
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy receivables
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis
  • Conduct technical and commercial presentations to clients
  • Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and monitor regional sales team
  • Set KPIs and track performance of team members
  • Provide regular training and product knowledge sessions

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Business Administration (MBA preferred)
  • 5–10 years of experience in solar industry, preferably in PV module sales
  • Strong network in solar EPCs, developers, and distributors
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
