Job Description

Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

Department: Sales & Business Development

Reporting To: National Sales Head

Location: Bangalore

Role Overview

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth and strengthening SaffronStays presence in the Bangalore market. This role focuses on executing regional sales strategies, managing key accounts, building partnerships, and ensuring high conversion across all sales channels. The ideal candidate is hands-on, target-driven, and has strong local market knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue Growth & Sales Execution

  • Execute regional sales strategies aligned with national objectives
  • Drive bookings, occupancy, and revenue across SaffronStays properties
  • Improve lead-to-conversion ratios across channels (calls, chats, agents)
  • Identify and activate new revenue opportunities (corporate stays, long stays, events, weekend getaways)

2. Key Account Management & Partnerships

  • Build and manage relationships with travel agents, corporates, event planners, and B2B partners
  • Drive repeat business through strong account management
  • Negotiate and close high-value deals and bulk bookings
  • Strengthen local partnerships to increase brand visibility

3. Market Development – Bangalore Region

  • Identify growth opportunities within Bangalore and nearby feeder markets
  • Provide market insights on pricing, demand trends, and competition
  • Collaborate with supply/acquisition teams for relevant property onboarding inputs

4. Sales Operations & Funnel Management

  • Manage daily sales pipeline, follow-ups, and closures
  • Track performance metrics such as conversion rate, booking value, and revenue per lead
  • Ensure effective usage of CRM tools for pipeline visibility and forecasting

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing for campaign execution and lead generation
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure seamless customer experience
  • Align with central teams on pricing, offers, and inventory planning

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Bangalore region revenue and occupancy growth
  • Conversion rates and pipeline efficiency
  • B2B partnerships and repeat client contribution
  • Average booking value and revenue per lead
  • Monthly and quarterly sales target achievement

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 4–8 years of experience in sales (hospitality, travel, real estate, or OTA preferred)
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and closing deals
  • Experience handling B2B accounts and partnerships
