Job Description

Sales Manager - West for Maharashtra Region

Work location - Pune based, with regular travel across the state.

Required experience - 8-12 years

Education - BE Mechanical + MBA preffered

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in industrial sales, business development, and channel/dealer network expansion, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets in the cutting tools industry.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities across automotive, engineering, die-mould, aerospace, and general machining industries.
  • Establish, expand, and manage a robust dealer and distributor network across Maharashtra.
  • Build strong relationships with machine shops, OEMs, tier suppliers, and tool rooms.
  • Collect competitor insights, market trends, pricing movements, and customer needs.
  • Share periodic MIS reports, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates with management.

Skills & Competencies

  • Demonstrated ability in business development and dealer/channel network building.
  • Strong technical understanding of solid carbide end mills, drills, reamers, cutters, etc.
  • Experience managing a state-level territory, preferably Maharashtra.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills. with ability to handle technical discussions with customers.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales reporting tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Maharashtra.
