Regional Head

Key responsibilities

• Strategic and financial leadership: Regional Heads develop and implement strategies to achieve growth, revenue, and profitability targets, managing the region's P&L and ensuring budget compliance. They monitor performance metrics such as book growth, fee income, and credit quality.
• Team management and development: Leading and mentoring a team of branch managers, relationship managers, and staff is crucial. Responsibilities include setting goals, conducting reviews, providing coaching, and driving talent acquisition and training to build a high-performing team. Fostering a culture of teamwork and customer-centricity is also key.
• Business and customer development: Regional Heads drive the acquisition of new clients and deepen existing relationships. They oversee the development of tailored financial solutions and ensure branches provide excellent customer service and handle complaints. Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders is also part of the role.
• Operational oversight: Ensuring efficient operations that adhere to policies and procedures is essential. This includes approving plans for new branches and ATMs, collaborating with other departments, and liaising with local authorities to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
