How You'll Make An Impact

Operational Management

  • You shape and lead APAC HR Operations by representing the region in the Global HR Operations Core Team, defining and executing the multi‑year strategy, operating model and transformation roadmap aligned with global standards.
  • You own end‑to‑end service delivery and performance across all APAC locations, ensuring quality, cost, speed, compliance and employee experience through strong governance, controls, metrics, financial stewardship and executive stakeholder management.
  • You drive transformation, customer experience and continuity by leading digital enablement, continuous improvement, integrations and change while embedding standard global processes and a performance‑led culture.

People Management

  • You set the APAC people and capability strategy, building strong leadership across Bangalore and regional teams.
  • You foster a high‑performance, inclusive culture with clear accountability, engagement and talent development.
  • You lead teams through change, ensuring effective communication and adoption during transformations and integrations.

Continuous Improvement

  • You continuously enhance the HR service value proposition through innovation, Lean methodologies and industry best practices.
  • You drive operational excellence through performance analysis, standardization and synergy realization.
  • You support integrations by allocating resources and shaping future‑state HR services, processes and delivery concepts.

Collaboration

  • You build strong relationships across HR, functions, Hitachi Energy and Hitachi Group stakeholders.
  • You represent HR Operations internally and externally to strengthen brand recognition and credibility.
  • You partner with global and regional peers to drive efficiency, consistency and standard HR service delivery.

Your background

  • 15+ years experience, including 5+ years leading multi-country/multi-site shared services or front-office operations (ideally HR Ops), with accountability for SLAs, controls, and client experience
  • Analytical, structured leader balancing strategy with hands-on operational management; strong program, transition, and process management skills
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across HR, IT, and Finance to drive standardization, continuous improvement, and change at scale
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Operations, or related field; Master's preferred
  • Experience with case management/shared services tools, service management, and Lean/Six Sigma is a plus
