Job Description

Drive timely, accurate transaction processing and exception resolution for Wholesale Payments clients within the Corporate & Investment Bank, delivering strong client service and SME guidance in a controlfocused environment. Elevate operational excellence by owning regulatory reporting, leading process improvements and automation, and partnering across middle/back office functions while flexibly supporting US hours.

As a Transaction Processing Specialist in Wholesale Payments Operations, you will ensure endtoend transaction management is completed on time, promptly resolve exceptions and client inquiries, and provide subject matter expertise to clients. You will also manage daily regulatory reporting and remediation activities while identifying and delivering process improvements and automation that enhance quality and efficiency. Operating within a strong control framework, you will independently execute tasks, proactively manage risks, and communicate clearly with stakeholders in a fastpaced environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute assigned tasks with accuracy and timeliness to meet operational deadlines and client expectations.
  • Lead process improvement and automation initiatives that streamline workflows and enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Manage tasks independently with minimal supervision, maintaining strong ownership and accountability.
  • Maintain a robust control mindset, proactively identifying issues and risks that could impact processes or the organization.
  • Resolve exceptions and client inquiries promptly, providing subject matter expertise and clear, professional communication.
  • Perform daily regulatory reporting and support remediation activities to ensure compliance and operational integrity.
  • Collaborate with middle/back office partners and operate flexibly to support US hours as business needs require.

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Bachelor's degree with strong computer skills across MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and related tools.
  • Strong analytical abilities, excellent oral and written communication, exceptional attention to detail, and high degree of accuracy.
  • Understanding of the financial services industry, products, and processes with a control mindset and risk awareness in daytoday execution.
  • Demonstrated ownership, client focus, and ability to work independently while meeting timecritical deliverables, including support during US hours.

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Thorough understanding of legal language to interpret documents and assess implications for the Firm.
  • Experience in middle or back office operations supporting transaction processing or client service.
  • Handson exposure to process improvement and automation within operational workflows.
  • Strong customer care practices and stakeholder management, with proven exception handling and remediation support.
