We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Recruitment and Development Officer to join our HR team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in attracting, hiring, and developing talent within our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates skills and cultural fit.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system with candidate information and recruitment metrics.
  • Organize and participate in job fairs and recruitment events to promote the company and attract candidates.
  • Support employee development programs by identifying training needs and facilitating workshops.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical skills to assess recruitment metrics and improve processes.
