Job Role Summary:

The Supplier Onboarding Specialist role is designed to assist with the registration and onboarding of suppliers onto Accenture's Network, enabling them to engage with their respective buyers. This role involves providing administrative support to expedite supplier onboarding, managing daily written (email) and telephonic interactions, and ensuring suppliers can effectively transact on the Network with their buyers.

The Supply Chain Operations Associate will work cross-functionally with internal teams and will focus on ensuring the successful onboarding and engagement of suppliers to meet regional revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Management: Assist suppliers through tools and processes, ensuring they understand key value propositions and best practices for using the Network.
  • Supplier Engagement: Actively engage with suppliers to ensure their timely onboarding and enablement.
  • Tracking & Monitoring: Monitor and track supplier progress against project milestones.
  • Network Compliance: Follow up with suppliers to ensure compliance with Network requirements.
  • Training & Support: Provide training to suppliers on configuring accounts, creating invoices, and using the Network effectively.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with other internal teams to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
  • Data Management: Prioritize strategic suppliers and accounts based on system information.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication with customers, especially in English.
  • Customer Service: Previous experience in customer support, sales, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Cross-functional Experience: Ability to work with teams across various departments, including multi-level management.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems, particularly in technical or service delivery settings.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software or related systems.
  • Ecommerce and Network Understanding: Understanding of electronic procurement and familiarity with procurement business processes (from requisitioning to payment).
  • Presentation Skills: Ability to effectively present information to internal teams or external suppliers.

Desired Experience:

  • Previous experience working with or selling a technical or service delivery product.
  • General knowledge of procurement processes and supplier enablement.
