About Retail Credit
The Retail Credit department in the Bank is a Credit Underwriting department for all the Retail clientele of the Bank. It is also
responsible for ensuring the maintenance of a good portfolio quality and for ensuring smooth credit appraisal processes by
automation/ digitization.
About the Role
The Process team is responsible for designing and implementation of Credit processes on the origination systems. The role is
responsible for automation and digitization of credit processes to improve process efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
. To manage and direct strategic process improvements and control initiatives for credit processes
. Automation of Credit processes by modification of systems or Implementation of digital solutions
. Analyzing requirements gathering, Designing and Implementing Solutions.
. Create credit processes from scratch, identify existing process bottlenecks and streamline the same.
. Developing required documentation such as process flow diagrams, SOPs, BRDs, KPIs, RACI, gap analysis reports,
presentations etc.
. Review credit process/ systems from login to sanction. Reinforcing and embed strong control framework around
current processes.
. Modify processes as per new requirements / regulatory / audit / to increase STP. Responsible to raise CRs with BSG /
IT for any changes in systems.
. Also manage change requests raised by the end users (Credit Team) with liaison with BSG and IT teams
. Manage life cycle of change requests
. Track the project from initiation to final execution (Go-live) with a detailed project plan to monitor and track
progress
. Ensure end to end and transparent co-ordination between the relevant stakeholders i.e. BSG, Credit Team and IT, for
a successful and quick implementation of Change request
. Be involved in the UAT testing and make sure of closure of all the defects raised, if any.
. Finalizing, arranging and being an active participant of SOP walkthrough, to all the relevant stakeholders before
rollout of any change request in production
. Post implementation of any change request in production, ensuring sanity testing completion and signoff from the
end users
. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to any CR/Projects
. Regular project status updates to top management and internal stake holders
. Responsible for billing activities of large vendors like CIBIL Transunion, Experian, Creditvidya etc
. Responsible for budgeting and monitoring of Cost items/ manpower budget for Retail Credit
. Responsible for regular presentations to Senior Management on Credit team performance (Login/Sanction/ Delinquency/ STP / ProjectsEnsure timely completion of key deliverables, audit queries and adherence to the corporate retail policy/ scheme.
Qualifications
Optimal qualification for success on the job is:
. Graduation/ Post- Graduation (MBA/ CA preferred) from a recognized institute
. Experience of atleast 5-10 years in Retail credit processing/ retail credit automation/ digitization.
Role Proficiencies:
For successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess:
. Knowledge of credit, relevant industry and product trends
. Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms
. Knowledge of Origination systems/Fintech/Digital services available in the market.
. Should have worked on Finnone/ Newgen/Blaze advisor/finnacle.
. Knowledge of co-lending/FLDG systems and processes.
. Good communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local language
. Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
