Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Radiologist to join our esteemed team at Spandana Hospital in Bengaluru. This is a full-time position requiring 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. The Radiologist will be responsible for interpreting medical images to aid in patient diagnosis while utilizing cutting-edge imaging technologies and systems. Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, the candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficient in interpreting PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) (Mandatory skill) to manage and archive medical imaging effectively.
  • Expertise in MRI interpretation (Mandatory skill) to aid in accurate diagnosis of various conditions.
  • Capable of conducting and interpreting fetal scans (Mandatory skill) for obstetric assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) standards for seamless imaging data transmission.
  • Skilled in CT scan interpretation to support radiological assessment and ensure diagnostic accuracy.
  • Adept at ultrasound imaging for diagnostic evaluation and assessment of patient conditions.
  • Experience with X-ray interpretation to assist in diagnosing a wide range of medical issues.
  • Familiar with Radiology Information System (RIS) to manage patient data and streamline radiology workflows.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Interpret medical images from various modalities, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and X-ray, to assist in patient diagnosis.
  • Work collaboratively with medical staff to provide comprehensive and timely reports on imaging findings.
  • Perform detailed analysis of imaging results and provide expert consultation to other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy in the use of PACS and RIS systems for effective imaging data management.
  • Conduct and interpret fetal scans to support obstetric evaluations and patient care.
  • Adhere to safety standards and protocols in radiological practices to ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated with advancements in radiology techniques and technologies.
  • Deliver high-quality patient-centered care by integrating radiological findings into overall patient management plans.
