RADIOLOGIST

Responsibilities

• Get diagnostic images and interpret them using MRI and CT scan technologies
• Communicate and discuss test results with referring physicians
• Discuss diagnostic findings with family members when appropriate and compliant with privacy standards
• Perform interventional procedures including transhepatic biliary drainage, catheter placement, and percutaneous transluminal angioplasty
• Collaborate with lab and imaging technicians to ensure optimal image quality
• Seek guidance and clinical input from other radiologists and specialists as needed
• Adhere to established protocols during emergency situations such as resuscitation, bleeding, and infection management
• Instruct patients on imaging procedures and ensure their understanding and comfort
• Discuss diagnostic findings and available clinical options with patients
