Overview
The Radiologist MD DNB DMRD position at our Pitampura, Delhi facility is vital to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans.
- Interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses.
- Prepare detailed reports of imaging findings for referring physicians.
- Collaborate with surgical and medical teams regarding imaging requirements.
- Advise on the selection of imaging tests based on patient history.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and radiation protection protocols.
- Engage in ongoing education to stay current with radiology advancements.
- Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions.
- Mentor junior radiology staff and residents.
- Provide consultation for complex imaging cases.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.
- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation.
- Support clinical research initiatives involving imaging studies.
- Engage with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns.
- Participate in community health outreach programs.
Required Qualifications
- MD in Radiology or equivalent degree.
- DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in Radiology.
- DMRD (Diploma in Medical Radio-Diagnosis) certification.
- Valid medical license to practice in India.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in diagnostic radiology.
- Proficient in interpreting various imaging modalities.
- Sound knowledge of radiological best practices.
- Experience with digital imaging systems and PACS.
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes in radiology.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
