Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented R&D Technician to join our Battery Research & Development team. The ideal candidate will assist in laboratory operations including battery cell testing, electrolyte preparation, and material characterization.
This role requires hands-on experience with pouch cells, coin cells, anode/cathode materials, and tab welding techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cell testing including electrochemical cycling and performance evaluations of pouch and coin cells.
- Prepare electrolytes with accurate measurement and mixing of components.
- Support preparation and characterization of anode and cathode materials.
- Perform tab welding for cell assembly ensuring quality and safety.
- Operate and maintain battery testing equipment and analytical instruments (GC/GCMS).
- Follow SOPs and safety guidelines for handling chemicals and materials.
- Record, analyze, and report experimental data.
- Collaborate with R&D engineers on ongoing projects.
Qualifications:
- M.Sc. in Chemistry or B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
- 0–2 years of experience in battery R&D, electrochemistry, or material testing.
- Exposure to cell fabrication, electrolyte formulation, and battery characterization tools.
- Good understanding of GC/GCMS, data analysis, and lab documentation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Salary:
Max Up to 5 LPA (depending on experience and skills)
