Mantras2success Consultants is seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage end-to-end software testing, primarily for LED TV products. This role is ideal for a hands-on individual with a strong background in embedded systems, who can drive quality assurance across the entire product development lifecycle in the consumer electronics industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Leadership & Execution: Lead and execute comprehensive end-to-end software testing processes, primarily aligned with LED TV development projects.
- Test Planning: Create and manage detailed test plans, test cases, and testing strategies that are precisely aligned with product requirements.
- Bug Management: Identify, meticulously document, and track bugs; collaborate effectively with development teams for timely resolution.
- Testing Types: Conduct functional, regression, performance, and system testing for embedded software in smart devices. This includes multimedia testing, display testing, and network feature validation.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate seamlessly with cross-functional R&D teams to ensure smooth integration and high-quality delivery.
- Reporting & Improvement: Analyze test results, prepare insightful reports, and actively contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Industry Trends: Stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies relevant to the consumer electronics sector.
- Mentorship & Optimization: Mentor junior team members and contribute to process optimization within the testing function.
Must-Have Skills
- Testing Experience: Hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.
- Embedded Systems: Strong understanding of embedded systems/software in smart TVs or Android-based platforms.
- OS & Tools: Familiarity with Android, Linux OS, and testing tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Specialized Testing: Experience in multimedia testing, display testing, and network feature validation.
- Communication: Excellent communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in software testing, preferably within the LED TV or mobile device industry.
