R&D Senior Member of Technical Staff, System Test

As a part of this function, the R&D Technology and Execution team designs, develops, and maintains software products and solutions, including the underlying systems and architecture. Responsible for delivering world-class products and solutions using established standards and processes in collaboration with other R&D functions and IT operations to provide continuous integration and delivery of cloud-enabled products and solutions.

We are looking for a strong technical hands-on person with development, test design, automation, performance and cloud testing skills working with a broad range of teams and stakeholders for System Testing roadmap of our Cloud Platform.

In this role you will:


  • Collaborate with QA Manager, Product Owner, Stakeholders, and the Scrum Team to understand test requirements for the Cloud Platform and define / implement the best suitable test automation
  • Design, develop a reusable architecture for the test automation and execute test cases and scripts through analysis of product specifications and software requirements
  • Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts. (Automated test infrastructure configuration and automated system test execution).
  • Build test automation frameworks that is easy to develop scripts, robust, supports variety of reporting, easy to troubleshoot failures, integrates with bug tracking systems and works easily with CI/CD for cloud-based products
  • Participate in Scrum meetings with other team members including sprint planning and estimating; backlog refinement; daily Scrum meetings; sprint retrospectives and sprint reviews.
  • Drive improvement on functionality, usability, testability, performance and production stability of the applications and systems
  • Communicate effectively across multiple teams, stake holders and customers
  • Continually develop and improve system test processes, adding value through optimization, automation, and effective use of Azure DevOps


Qualifications:

Must-Have


  • 9+ years of relevant industry experience as a software development engineer in test and product testing role
  • Technical/Engineering education background (BE or ME degree in Computer Science/Engineering is preferred).
  • Software development and automation experience with distributed and/or Cloud-based systems
  • Strong programming, troubleshooting, and debugging skills in C#, Typescript, and JavaScript.
  • Experienced in testing Angular and .net based web apps using UI and API test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and TestNG.
  • Experienced in functional, contract, integration and E2E scenario testing Exposure in using K6, JMeter and similar tools for Performance and load testing
  • Experienced in testing rest services and micro services
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools and Test automation tools in Cloud platform
  • Experienced in working in an Agile or SCRUM team environment
  • Experience with DevOps and build management tools like ADO, Jenkins, MS Test, etc, with CI/CD
  • Cloud Platform knowledge. Ex. Azure, AWS
  • Scripting skills using Python
  • Excellent analytical skills, open, proactive, results oriented, self-organized and self-motivated
  • Positive approach to problem solving with a ‘can do’ attitude.


Nice if you have


  • Experience using Source Control tools like GIT
  • Cloud Platform knowledge. Ex. Azure, AWS.
  • Experience with Industrial automation domain knowledge
