Job Description

We're Sleepy Owl Coffee, an omni-channel challenger brand in the coffee space, on a mission to make India a coffee-drinking country. As a premium coffee brand, we proudly serve over 5,00,000+ coffee drinkers across the country. We have a presence both online in 5000 stores and growing market share on digital channels. Backed by marquee investors and mentors like DSG Consumer Partners & Rukam Capital, we're ready to scale our digital business. We need a dynamic Key Account Manager to grow our business on Quick-Commerce.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. On-Platform Marketing & Advertising (Primary Focus)

  • Own and manage PPC campaigns across quick commerce platforms — from setup to daily optimisation.
  • Drive keyword strategy, bid management, and budget allocation to maximise ROAS and category visibility.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns (platform banners, brand stores, sponsored listings) aligned with product and seasonal calendars.
  • Analyse ad performance data and generate actionable insights to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Monitor share of search, conversion rates, and platform-specific metrics to maintain competitive positioning.
  • Coordinate with platform marketing teams to unlock premium placements, exclusive campaigns, and co-marketing opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a campaign calendar with clear goals, budgets, and KPI benchmarks per platform.

  • 2. Cataloguing & Digital Shelf Presence

    • Ensure best-in-class product listings across all Q-Com platforms — compelling titles, optimised descriptions, high-quality imagery, and accurate attributes.
    • Track and maintain onsite presence for all major SKUs, flagging gaps and driving corrections proactively.
    • Support new product launches with listing readiness, go-live coordination, and launch marketing activation.

    3. Pricing & Promotions

    • Monitor competitive pricing and recommend pricing actions to stay relevant and conversion-friendly.
    • Plan and execute platform promotions (flash sales, bundle deals, festive offers) with clear ROI tracking.
    • Coordinate with internal teams on promotional approvals, discount structures, and funding decisions.

    4. Data, Reporting & Insights

    • Build and maintain dashboards tracking key marketing metrics: ROAS, CTR, conversion, SOV, and category rank.
    • Deliver regular performance reports to stakeholders with clear trend analysis and recommendations.
    • Capture platform data proactively to feed demand forecasting and inventory planning inputs.

    KEY DELIVERABLES

    • Improved ROAS and reduced cost-per-order across sponsored campaigns on all three platforms.
    • 100% onsite listing presence and quality score for all active SKUs.
    • Execution of monthly promotional calendar with pre and post effectiveness reporting.
    • Daily/weekly/monthly marketing performance dashboards shared with leadership.
    • Increased share of search and category rank for priority product lines.
    • Zero stockout incidents during active promotional windows. 

    KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

    • Deep hands-on experience setting up, optimising, and scaling paid campaigns on Q-Com or e-commerce platforms (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, Amazon, Flipkart, or similar).
    • Comfortable working with large datasets; able to extract insights from performance data and translate them into clear actions.
    • Strong proficiency for reporting, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis.
    • Familiarity with Q-Com/e-comm platform mechanics — search algorithms, listing
    • standards, ad formats, and promotional levers.
    • Meticulous about listing quality, campaign accuracy, and data integrity.
    • Able to spot opportunities, move fast, and adapt campaigns based on real-time performance.
    • Works well cross-functionally with sales, supply chain, and creative teams.
    • Self-starter who takes accountability for outcomes, not just tasks. 

    QUALIFICATION

    • Minimum 1 year of experience in Q-Com, with a strong focus on performance marketing / on-platform advertising.
    • Prior experience at a D2C or FMCG brand is highly preferred.
    • MBA in Sales & Marketing is a plus, but not mandatory.
    • Experience specifically with Q-Com platforms (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart) is a strong advantage.
