• Job Title: Assistant Manager - Quantity Surveyor (Civil, Interior fitout & finishes)
• Location: Mumbai / Goa

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor specializing in interior fitout and finishes quantity surveying to join our dynamic team within the luxury real estate sector. The ideal candidate will possess over 5 years of experience in quantity surveying and will be responsible for managing project costs related to specialized systems within construction projects. This role involves cost estimation, budget management, and contract administration, while ensuring that project requirements are met through effective collaboration with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Study project scope in alignment with design requirements.
• Validate technical specifications provided by the design team.
• Optimize specifications ensuring no deviation from client-required deliverables.
• Validate Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and supporting calculations.
• Present BOQs and proposed solutions to management for approval.
• Review and process Running Account (RA) bills and final bills.
• Prepare amendments as necessary.
• Conduct budget cost analysis based on benchmark cost matrices.
• Submit various budget options considering alternative solutions to the original design.
• Research and propose new products for management approval.
• Provide optimization options for budgets based on project needs.
• Ensure completion of budget requirements within designated time frames.
• Prepare reports on cost analysis for management review.

Additional Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, rate analyses, and amendments.
• Perform quantity take-offs for all construction items using AutoCAD based on project specifications.
• Conduct cost planning, value engineering, and risk analysis.
• Verify contractor's bills and variations.
• Coordinate with all project stakeholders, including design, site, contracts, billing, and project management teams.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of the construction industry, particularly in interior fit-outs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
