About The Opportunity
We are hiring a
Quality Head – Automotive Manufacturing to lead end-to-end
Quality Management Systems (QMS) in a fast-growing automotive manufacturing setup based in Kadi, Gujarat.
This leadership role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in
IATF 16949, ISO 9001, OEM/customer audits, automotive core tools, and regulatory homologation compliance.
Candidates should also have hands-on exposure to
automotive manufacturing processes such as assembly, moulding, and pad printing, along with a strong ability to drive
zero-defect manufacturing culture.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Management System (QMS) Leadership
- Lead and maintain QMS aligned with IATF 16949 & ISO 9001 standards
- Plan and execute:
- VSA (Vehicle System Audits)
- MACE Audits
- Process & Product Audits
- Layered Process Audits (LPA)
- OQA & IQC inspections
- Lead internal, external & certification audits (IATF audits)
- Ensure timely closure of NCRs using CAPA methodology
- Independently manage customer audits and audit readiness
Regulatory & Homologation Compliance
- Ensure compliance with EU Regulation 2018/858
- Coordinate with global homologation bodies:
- Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA)
- UTAC
- TÜV
- RDW
- Manage Conformity of Production (COP) activities
- Ensure compliance with ECE R100 automotive safety standards
Automotive Quality Tools & Continuous Improvement
- Lead implementation of core automotive quality tools:
- PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, VDA 6.3
- Drive CAPA, Poka-Yoke, Kaizen, and defect reduction initiatives
- Monitor and improve KPIs (PPM, COPQ, FPY, process capability)
- Ensure accurate daily quality MIS reporting
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve a zero-defect culture
Manufacturing Quality Focus Areas
Ensure Robust Quality Control In
- Assembly operations
- Moulding processes
- Pad printing processes
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong expertise in IATF 16949 & automotive QMS
- Hands-on experience in OEM/customer audits & audit closure
- Strong knowledge of automotive core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, VDA 6.3)
- Experience in regulatory compliance & homologation systems
- Strong capability in CAPA, RCA, and process control methodologies
- Excellent leadership, team management & stakeholder coordination skills
- Strong experience in daily reporting, KPI tracking & audit documentation
- Hindi communication is mandatory
Preferred Profile
- Experience in automotive OEM or Tier-1 suppliers
- Exposure to international certification bodies & global quality standards
- Background in automotive component manufacturing
