Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • QA/QC Leadership: Lead and manage the entire Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) function specifically for residential real estate projects.
  • Team Setup & Management: Establish and build a robust QA/QC team across various project sites, defining roles, responsibilities, and ensuring adequate staffing.
  • Quality Audits: Conduct regular and comprehensive quality audits across all project phases, from material procurement to final handover, to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify, document, and oversee the resolution of all quality-related issues and non-conformities, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure strict compliance with all relevant quality standards, building codes, regulatory requirements, and internal specifications for residential projects.
  • Quality Risk Management (QRM): Drive Quality Risk Management initiatives, proactively identifying potential quality risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • MIS & Reporting: Develop and manage Quality Management Information Systems (MIS), tracking key quality metrics and preparing regular performance reports for senior management.
  • Vendor & Material Management: Evaluate and approve vendors and materials based on stringent quality criteria. Oversee material testing and quality checks.
  • Inspection Management: Coordinate and manage all necessary quality inspections, both internal and external, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous quality improvement across all project teams and processes.

Required Skills:

  • Proven ability to lead QA/QC functions, specifically within residential real estate projects.
  • Experience in setting up and managing QA/QC teams across multiple sites.
  • Strong expertise in conducting quality audits and resolving quality issues.
  • Thorough understanding of compliance requirements in real estate construction.
  • Proficiency in Quality Risk Management (QRM) and MIS reporting.
  • Ability to track quality metrics effectively.
  • Experience in evaluating vendors and approving materials based on quality standards.
  • Skills in handling various types of inspections.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
