Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications through effective testing strategies and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on project requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for web and API-based applications.
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality delivery.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using frameworks such as Selenium.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts and QA methodologies.
- Experience with manual and automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Good knowledge of API testing and web application testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
