Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement comprehensive testing strategies that enhance the overall quality of software applications. The role includes integrating various tools and processes to support continuous testing throughout the application lifecycle. You will actively participate in planning sessions, contribute to ecosystem integration efforts, and ensure that testing activities align with project goals. Monitoring testing progress, identifying potential issues early, and facilitating communication among stakeholders are key aspects of the daily routine, all aimed at accelerating delivery while maintaining high standards of quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to define and implement automation strategies that improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and support their professional growth.
• Coordinate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes within the software delivery pipeline.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing.
• Experience in designing and developing automated test scripts to support continuous integration and delivery.
• Strong knowledge of testing frameworks and tools relevant to automated testing environments.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and develop effective test cases that cover functional and non-functional requirements.
• Familiarity with environment configuration and data setup to support automated test execution.
• Experience in monitoring test results, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Automated Testing.
• This position is based at our Pune office.
