Team Lead - Quality Control (Agrochemical Formulations)

We're hiring a hands-on QC Lead to build and own the quality control function for our agrochemical formulations pipeline. This is a foundational role, you'll set up analytical methods, lab systems, and SOPs from the ground up, while working closely with R&D, process chemistry, and regulatory teams.
What you'll do:
- Develop, validate, and execute analytical methods for AI assay, impurity profiling, and physicochemical testing across formulation types (SC, EC, WP, WG, SL, EW, ME)
- Perform routine and non-routine QC testing per CIPAC, FAO/WHO, and BIS methods, including emulsion stability, suspensibility, particle size, pH, viscosity, and wettability
- Manage accelerated and real-time stability studies; flag deviations to R&D
- Draft and enforce SOPs, test protocols, specifications, and CoAs aligned with CIB&RC and export market requirements
- Investigate OOS/OOT results, conduct root cause analysis, and drive CAPA closure
- Set up and maintain lab operations, instrument calibration, maintenance schedules, reagent inventory, and safety protocols
- Support NABL accreditation readiness and regulatory audits with complete, traceable records
What we're looking for
- M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or related discipline (M.Tech / Ph.D. is a plus)
- 5–10 years in QC / analytical development within agrochemicals, crop protection, or specialty chemicals
- Hands-on proficiency with HPLC, GC, GC-MS, UV-Vis, KF titration, and relevant wet chemistry methods
- Familiarity with FAO/WHO, CIB&RC, and CIPAC standards
