R&D Team Leader – Organic Chemistry (Agrochemicals)
Location: Bengaluru
Key Requirements
- Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry with 3–5 years of experience, or M.Sc. in Chemistry with 12–15 years of experience
- Proven experience in Agrochemical R&D / Process Development
- Strong team leadership with hands-on lab expertise
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of scientists while actively contributing in the lab
- Drive process development, optimization, validation, and scale-up
- Develop cost-effective, non-infringing manufacturing processes
- Manage technology transfer from lab to pilot/commercial scale
- Analyze reaction mechanisms, impurities, and purification processes
- Interpret analytical data (NMR, HPLC, GC, Mass) and conduct literature research (SciFinder/Reaxys)
- Handle technical documentation, cost analysis, and ROS evaluation
- Ensure lab safety, IP confidentiality, and cross-functional coordination
