Quality Assurance Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Understand end-to-end production processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
2. Coordinate with the production team to ensure consistent quality across all activities.
3. Handle and resolve all internal and external quality-related complaints.
4. Maintain a comprehensive tracker/MIS for all complaints, actions taken, and follow-ups.
5. Ensure QA/QC processes comply with all relevant audit and industry standards.
6. Optimize processes as needed to improve quality and operational efficiency.
7. Conduct audits across departments to verify quality standards and 5S compliance.
8. Train, guide, and support the QC team to meet organizational goals.
9. Lead and promote continuous improvement activities (Kaizen).
10. Assess operator performance regularly and provide feedback.
11. Maintain and promote 5S practices across the workplace.
12. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
13. Foster teamwork, efficiency, and a collaborative work environment.
14. Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
15. Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by management.

Technical/Functional Proficiency Required

1. Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.)
2. Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, standards, and methodologies
3. Knowledge of FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
4. Proficiency in quality inspection techniques and sampling plans
5. Ability to conduct internal and external audits
