What we are looking for:

Role:Quality Assurance Lead Salesforce Platforms

Kenverse is building AI-native SaaS platforms powered by modern cloud infrastructure and scalable architectures. As our products increasingly leverage Salesforce ecosystems, we are looking for a QA Lead who will drive quality engineering strategy across Salesforce-based applications and integrations.

This role goes beyond testing you will define how quality is engineered into Salesforce implementations, integrations, and enterprise SaaS platforms from design through release.

Location: Bangalore

Experience Required: 10+ years

What you'll do

Quality Strategy & Leadership

• Define and own the QA strategy for Salesforce-based products and integrated platforms.
• Establish automation-first testing practices aligned with Salesforce development and release cycles.
• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing QA team across manual and automation testing.
• Drive shift-left testing and embed quality early across configuration, customization, and integration stages.
• Act as the quality champion across Engineering, Product, and Business teams.

Salesforce Testing & Automation Ownership

• Lead testing across Salesforce ecosystems including:
• Sales Cloud
• Service Cloud
• Experience Cloud (preferred)
• Custom Salesforce applications
• Validate configurations including:
• Flows
• Apex classes & triggers
• Lightning components
• Validation rules & workflows
• Design and oversee automation frameworks using:
• Selenium (Java) for web/UI automation
• Salesforce-compatible automation tools (Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, or equivalent)
• API automation using Postman/Newman or similar tools
• Ensure automation coverage across UI, API, and integration layers.

End-to-End Quality Governance

• Define test strategies, quality gates, and release readiness for Salesforce deployments.
• Establish metrics-driven quality dashboards (defect leakage, regression health, release confidence).
• Ensure regression stability across Salesforce releases and platform upgrades.
• Standardize testing practices across multiple product and Salesforce teams.

DevOps & Continuous Testing

• Integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Copado, Gearset, etc.).
• Enable continuous testing aligned with Salesforce DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on sandbox strategy, environment stability, and release automation.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with Product Managers, Salesforce Architects, and Engineering Leads during requirement and solution design.
• Participate in architecture discussions to ensure scalability and testability.
• Provide leadership visibility into product quality, risks, and release readiness.

Process & Quality Improvement

• Drive best practices across SDLC, STLC, and Agile delivery models.
• Introduce modern QA practices such as:
• Risk-based testing
• Test data management for Salesforce environments
• Integration & contract testing
• Observability-driven validation
• Continuously improve testing efficiency and release velocity.

Our Ideal Candidate

Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 1012 years of experience in software testing and quality engineering.
• Proven experience leading QA teams in Salesforce or enterprise SaaS environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
• Salesforce testing (Sales Cloud / Service Cloud)
• Apex & Lightning testing validation
• Selenium (Java) automation frameworks
• API testing using Postman or equivalent tools
• Deep understanding of:
• Salesforce release lifecycle & environments
• SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle management
• Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Test strategy and release governance
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution.

Good to Have

• Experience with Salesforce automation tools
• Exposure to Azure and/or AWS environments.
• Understanding of microservices and external system integrations with Salesforce.
• Knowledge of API security concepts (OAuth, JWT).
• Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, New Relic, ELK, or Datadog.
• Exposure to AI-enabled applications or intelligent automation testing.
• Experience in EdTech or enterprise SaaS platforms.
