Role Overview

We are looking for a QA Lead with deep expertise in testing strategy, QA process management and automation. This is a strategic, hands-on role focused on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of Presto's enterprise platform across international markets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end QA activities for our core platform products, ensuring best-in-class quality standards.
  • Design and execute comprehensive test strategies including system, functional, automation, and non-functional testing (performance, scalability, security, etc.).
  • Define and enforce testing documentation practices: test plans, test cases, test reports, traceability matrices, etc.
  • Document and maintain detailed test reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency.

  • Drive the adoption and enhancement of QA automation frameworks (UI/API/Mobile) using tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, RestAssured, etc.
  • Manage and optimize defect lifecycle using JIRA or equivalent test management tools in a global/multi-site environment.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to align test coverage with business and technical requirements.
  • Lead test environment management and oversee CI/CD pipeline integration for continuous testing.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for test case design, documentation, and execution.
  • Proactively identify gaps in quality processes and lead continuous improvements.

Qualifications

  • 810 years of professional QA experience, including 2+ years in a leading or mentoring capacity.
  • Proven background in platform companies or SaaS-based product environments.
  • Strong expertise in automation frameworks, scripting languages (Ruby, Python, Java, or JS), and toolsets.
  • Deep understanding of testing methodologies (Agile, BDD, TDD) and non-functional testing.
  • Experience working with international teams, stakeholders, and tools across time zones.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and testing distributed systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and documentation discipline.
